SLOWNESS was formed in 2008 in San Francisco by Julie Lynn and Geoffrey Scott. Their debut EP "Hopeless but Otherwise" was produced by Monte Vallier. Immensely enjoyable. On the Shoegazer spectrum, Lowtide's song structures are an acknowledgement to the great Slowdive, using the feedback to create shimmering atmospheres. Beautiful and timeless.
